Recovery after turning: precision and finish
At Billardy, we handle the return of parts after turning directly in our integrated workshop, ensuring complete control of the process and optimal responsiveness. The main interventions carried out are:
- Grinding of metal parts: to ensure tight tolerances and flawless surface conditions
- Thread rolling: to create robust and precise threads without removing material
These operations are carried out with an accuracy of 5 microns, or 1/10th of the thickness of a hair, ensuring consistent quality and perfect integration into mechanical or electronic assemblies.
Rework after cold strike: finishes and technicality
Parts produced by cold forming may require finishing operations to meet the strictest functional requirements. Thanks to our diverse machine fleet, we carry out the following in-house work:
- Thread roll
- Beveling of the screw tip / pilot tip
- Throat rolling
- Splitting
- Additional machining after keyboarding
