Machined from polished stainless steel or lead-free brass, the weights are produced using CNC bar turning, then ground and polished. Their mass is determined according to the product’s requirements, with a geometry adapted to the available space, sometimes in a ring-shaped or conical design.

Billardy manufactures micro-machined metal spray pumps integrated into the spray heads of perfume bottles. Machined using CNC micro-turning and calibrated drilling from CW614N brass or 316L stainless steel, with diameters between 0.20 and 0.50 mm, these components ensure a fine, even and obstruction-free spray.
The surface is polished, passivated, nickel-plated or gold-plated according to aesthetic requirements, whilst remaining compatible with alcohol-based solvents, acidic or oily formulations, and the system’s internal pressure requirements. Each component meets micrometric tolerances to ensure precise integration into the nozzles and perfect reproducibility on an industrial scale.
Micro metal component for high-end perfume bottles
In the luxury perfumery sector, Billardy manufactures brass base weights, which are incorporated into the bottles to enhance their stability and provide a more comfortable grip when in use. These components are produced using multi-station cold forging, a technology ideally suited to producing dense, uniform parts with a refined aesthetic finish.
The weights must be of a specified mass, free from burrs, and have a clean surface suitable for decorative finishes such as galvanising, gilding or lacquering. CW614N brass offers excellent machinability whilst ensuring good resistance to the alcohol-based solvents found in perfumes.
